It's been a long time

Hi all,

Angryman here, its been a while since I've posted on the blog so i thought I'd post something short and sweet.

I played a 2500 game last night with my Tyranids v's Chaos Space Marines.  I've not had my nids out for a long time and it shocked me at how much i had forgotten how to use them.

I forgot to use abilities, to cast psychic powers and even to roll for reserves.

So my question is this, has being forgetful ever cost you a combat or a game and will you share with us?

All comments welcome.

  1. This comes in two ways, the first is from not reading a new codex properly and needing a few games to get to grips with it.

For example, for the past 3 weeks I've forgotten that I get to roll for my Combat Drugs at the start of the game in my Dark Eldar army.

The other type, is when you've not played an army for a while and you forget things or mix it up with another codex you've been playing in the mean time. The last few games where I'd played Orks I'd mostly forgotten my Waaagh move until late on in the game when it wasn't of much use.

Or, with my Imperial Guard, completely forgotten that I could issue orders since I wasn't used to such a thing in 3rd Ed.

  2. I think its a regular problem with any game or army you don't play regular. For example if its not dawn of war kill points im buggered.
